About This Agent

Your Jira automation assistant. This agent interacts with Jira directly through the browser using the izan.io Chrome extension. It uses Jira's REST API v3 via same-origin requests, leveraging your existing browser session for authentication. Search issues with JQL, create and update tickets, transition statuses, manage sprints, and perform bulk updates across multiple issues in parallel.

What It Does

The Jira Manager agent uses 10 pre-built browser automation macros to interact with Jira through the Chrome extension. It calls Jira's REST API v3 endpoints directly from the browser page context, using your session cookies for authentication. Bulk operations run in parallel browser tabs.

Key Features

Search issues using JQL (Jira Query Language) with full support for project, status, assignee, and date filters

Create new issues with project, type, summary, description, and priority - and update existing issue fields

Transition issues between statuses (To Do, In Progress, Done) and assign issues to team members

View boards and sprint issues, add comments, and bulk update multiple issues in parallel

How to Use

Install the izan.io Chrome extension, then select the Jira Manager agent and start chatting. Provide your Jira instance URL (e.g. company.atlassian.net) and you must be logged into Jira in your browser.

Pro Tip

Use JQL syntax for powerful searches: 'project = PROJ AND status = "In Progress" AND assignee = currentUser()'. The agent can translate natural language to JQL for you.
